Now for a nice nap.

We’ve gained sight of the islands but have one more night at sea. The tradewinds let us down yesterday and we lost the speed we needed to make Hiva Oa before dark tonight. So we’ve slowed the boat way down and are pacing ourselves to be at the entrance to Tahauku Bay at first light Saturday morning to anchor among the herd of boats already there.

Also, K discovered a stash of fresh oranges we’d forgotten we had – so life is good aboard Bint al Khamseen.
